Introduction to this Libguide

Welcome to this introductory Libguide on Research Data Management!

Research data management is a term covering all the activities around organising, structuring, storing and caring for data produced as part of a research project. Attitudes towards sharing research results have shifted in recent years to promote open sharing of outputs, so it is important to understand the concepts behind RDM and how they apply to your work.

This guide aims to serve as a primer and reference material for researchers who are new to RDM, covering what it is and how it works as well as linking out to more resources on Open Research.
