CODATA RDM Terminology
The International Science Council's Committee on Data (CODATA) RDM Terminology Working Group first developed a guide to terminology used in RDM in 2023, titling it 2023, v0001. It is shared under a Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 International license, which permits almost any use subject to providing credit and license notice.
The goal of this terminology is to gather the key terms needed for a common understanding of the research data management domain. Both human-readable and machine-actionable versions are available:
