
Data planning involves making decisions at the outset of your project to decide factors which will affect what it’s possible to do with your data in the future. Data planning is best done by writing a Data Management Plan (DMP).

The University of Warwick has procured a license for DMPOnline. This software, hosted by the Digital Curation Centre, provides a convenient platform for researchers to prepare Data Management Plans, which can be submitted to the Research Data team based at the Library for review.
